This was the first song released by Black Tail. I wrote it while traveling the East Coast. Walking in New York all by myself I used to pass by the bar and parks where Elliott Smith used to go. I had his music in my ipod, and it felt he was some sort of friend, the kind of friend you feel the need to write to. To this extent, this was not properly a song, it was more a letter to someone you miss. I recorded some tracks with a small portable device in Back Bay, Boston, and finished recording it in Latina (Italy) some months later, when I finally got back home. It was released on october 21, 2013, on the ten years anniversary of Elliott Smith's death.
